We are proud to award Mrs. Paula Sewell, fourth grade teacher at St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School, with the Jan Dils Golden Apple for March.
This news came as no surprise to students and colleagues as Mrs. Sewell has gone above and beyond with a smile for her students for over 30 years. And her service doesn’t end when the bell rings. She’s also known for working on bulletin boards, meeting with committees, and serving her students and school in many ways.
Her love for teaching is contagious, according to the friend and former co-worker who nominated her. And she does it all with a smile.
“I love doing fun activities and whatever it takes to motivate them and see that light bulb come on,” Mrs. Sewell said.
