Warmest congratulations to Ginger Postlewait, the January winner of the Jan Dils Golden Apple Award!
A member of the Wood County Christian School faculty since its inception two decades ago, Ms. Postlewait’s personal attention and compassion for each student were among the reasons she was nominated in addition to her constructive feedback and understanding.
Her love for teaching comes from a passion for hard work, she says, along with the desire to see every child who enters her classroom reach his or her potential.
Ms. Postlewait says she was honored and shocked when her name was announced, but it was no surprise to her students and peers. The school burst into applause when the award was given, including her family members who got to be in attendance.
