House Approves Increase in VA Disability Benefits Compensation

Excellent news for veterans! Last month, the House approved new legislation that will provide for the increase of compensation for veterans receiving disability benefits.

Starting on December 1, S. 2258 Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act will direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA) to raise veterans’ benefits’ compensation rates to match the increasing costs of living. The measure was approved by unanimous voice vote.

This annual increase is important to maintain the quality of benefits that veterans deserve after their hard-fought service to the country.
