Mary-Michael Klayer joined our firm in January 2018 and serves as the Director of Human Resources & Culture. She oversees the firm’s human resources operations, including recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and leadership development. She also leads the firm’s culture initiatives and community involvement efforts. Her favorite part of her role is helping team members grow and watching them succeed.
Originally from Parkersburg, West Virginia, Mary-Michael discovered her passion for Human Resources while working as an HR assistant in high school. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Marshall University in 2016 and previously worked in nonprofit office management and financial services marketing.
Mary-Michael now resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and stepdaughter. Outside of work, you’ll often find her seeking out new experiences with her friends and family whether that is she traveling, attending concerts and musicals, trying new local restaurants, reading, or exploring nature with her dogs.
Mary-Michael is a native of Parkersburg, West Virginia. Her passion for Human Resources started in high school when she worked as an HR assistant. She graduated from Marshall University in 2016 with a bachelor’s in business administration, and prior to joining our team, she worked in Office Management for a nonprofit and in marketing for a financial services company. In her personal time, Mary-Michael loves to see live music and travel. She’s an avid reader, which is probably why she is a rockstar at conducting our firm’s leadership development book club. On her free time you might find her at a concert or musical, on a nature hike with her dogs, supporting a community event, or making memories with the people she loves.
