In 2011, Jess Hacker started as a receptionist at our firm knowing nothing about VA Law. With the help of her mentors, Jess has grown tremendously within the firm. After working in reception, Jess held five different VA department positions until she became VA Operations & Training Manager. As VA Operations & Training Manager, she oversees the entire VA line of business, trains new hires, and continuously trains and coaches our VA team members.
She loves being able to help train team members and watch them grow as well as investigating and producing processes and procedures with the help of the team. Lastly, she enjoys the rewarding feeling of helping Veterans get the benefits that they deserve and knowing she is a part of that. She knows that our mission and core values are meaningful to our firm and that the amazing group of people she works with are committed to following our mission and our core values.
Jess is from Pennsboro, West Virginia and attended Ritchie County High School and West Virginia University at Parkersburg. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters, working on homestead canning projects, camping, and enjoying the outdoors with friends and family.
